Cruelty-Free Tarte Eyeshadow Palette

Tarte cosmetics eco-friendly eyeshadow palette

In the days leading up to Earth Day (Monday, April 22), Aesthete will be focused on more eco-conscious topics. I’ll admit, not everything I do in my life is green – maybe hippie-lite, if you will – but I do try to make thoughtful choices. Whether you’re opting for something slightly organic to 100% earth-friendly, you can decide what fits into your lifestyle. Every little bit counts. Tarte cosmetics eco-friendly eyeshadow palette In one of the most obvious statements of my life, I love to indulge in is a great beauty product. One of my favorite brands is tarte cosmetics, a cruelty-free company that uses beneficial, natural ingredients. They have a huge selection of products, but my biggest recommendation goes to their eyeshadow palettes.

The packaging is refillable and reusable, so once you run out of a certain shade (as if!) you can replace it with a new pan. Though it’s hard to actually run out because these palettes come with tons of product, which makes the price worth it. The shadow itself is smooth and silky with excellent color payoff, formulated without parabens and all that other icky stuff we try to avoid putting on our skin. Tarte uses mineral-rich pigments blended with vitamin C and E for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as coconut oil to keep your lids free from dryness.

For the best value, and I know it’s a ways away, but go for their holiday palette during Christmastime. It changes each year, but you typically get 32 shadows (16 shimmer, 16 matte), plus blush, bronzer, and lip color. For the most eco-friendy option, the reusable palettes help reduce waste. Tarte is available online and at Sephora and Ulta Beauty.
