Prabal Gurung for Target 2013

After a commercially unsuccessful collaboration with 23 other designers for the Neiman Marcus x Target Holiday Collection this past December, Prabal Gurung is giving the low-priced retail chain another try.

Right in the middle of Fashion Week, Gurung will debut 80 new pieces for his new Target capsule collection inspired by romance and young love. Vibrant colors, graphic prints, and plenty of that floral trend popular for this season are weaved throughout the line, with a number of must-have items at prices more appropriate for the store’s average customer.

“The collection is inspired by a girl’s journey through the different stages of love and the clothes she wears during each milestone—from the initial first crush all the way to the engagement,” Gurung told ELLE.com in an exclusive interview. “Both the apparel and accessories in this collection include pieces that can be worn for each of these occasions and more!”

“I love how expensive everything looks!” he also told the fashion site.

Check out some of my favorites from the 80-piece collection, available February 10 in stores and online.
