I discovered my absolute favorite facial product at Sephora a few years ago from a coworker who had amazing, glowing skin. My skin has always been pretty clear, but lacked the brightness that hers possessed. Her secret? Pangea Organics Japanese Matcha Tea Mask with Acai and Goji Berry.
This product is totally vegan and gluten-free, and its ingredients are, according to the website, antioxidant, revitalizing, protective, anti-aging, nutrient-rich, and rejuvenating. I wear this for 20 minutes once or twice a week, followed by a quick swipe of toner, and my skin feels and looks so clean and bright.
Pangea Organics is no longer sold at Sephora, however, you can find it at Whole Foods and at various health food markets and spas.
The tube gives you a generous 4 oz, but I know it can still be a bit pricey for some at $40. In the video above with company CEO and Founder Joshua Onysko, you’ll learn how to make the same mask with ingredients found at your local health food store. Depending where you shop, that could end up costing the same, but this way you’ll have more product and since some of the ingredients used won’t expire quickly (ex. yerba mate tea), you’ll be spending less in the long run. And here’s one more reason to love this brand:
At Pangea we believe that every ingredient in every product that we make needs to be active. We don’t believe in adding fillers to any of our products … all of these ingredients are doing something for your skin and that’s the way cosmetics should be developed.
Have you tried any Pangea Organics products? What do you think?
