Topshop SS13 Nails Video Campaign
When it comes to nail polish ads, I tend to “ooh” and “ahh” for about five seconds then flip the page or keep scrolling. Looking down at my old cookie tins filled with gently used bottles tends to keep me in check. But Topshop clearly knows that women like me need a little more entertainment than a photo of sparkly top coat and snakeskin stickers to hold our attention. Behold, the stop-motion animated video showing off the spring/summer 2013 collection, a funky little ad by Sadie and Joe Williams that shows lacquered petals blooming to music by Joseph Bond. I’m going to be needing that perfectly smooth gold and creamy coral now, thanks.
